Winter Yin
A trilogy of wintery yin events is on its way and I am very excited. I love to share the practice of yin yoga, but especially so in the winter when it feels that extra bit cosy. Each works well on its own, or sign up to all three if you're feeling so inclined...I'd certainly recommend it!
Yin & Restorative Yoga
Sunday 20th October
5-6:30pm
Surrey Holistic Centre, Godalming
£20
This session will use yin shapes lasting 1-3 minutes. You will be guided to tune into the sensations of your body and potentially release some blockages, allowing energy to flow freely through the energy channels. We’ll then delve into more restorative and supportive shapes lasting 5-7 minutes each to target your nervous system and slow down the stress response.
Yin & Yoga Nidra
Sunday 17th November
5-6:30pm
Surrey Holistic Centre, Godalming
£20
We will start with some yin and extremely gentle movement, coaxing the body into a more relaxed state before we begin the practice of Yoga Nidra. Translating as ‘yogic sleep’, you will be guided by my voice throughout the practice. You will be invited to delve into the layers of your consciousness as you rest somewhere between sleep and wakefulness.
Yin & 61-Point Relaxation
Sunday 15th December
5-6:30pm
Surrey Holistic Centre
£20
This final session before Christmas will be predominately yin. We’ll work through all major joints and fascial lines before settling into a traditional Himalayan relaxation practice. The practice involves lying still while I take you through 61 points of relaxation on your body.
I have a free recording of a 31-point relaxation if you'd like to try it out. It's a shorter, introductory version of the full 61-point relaxation which we will practice on 15/12/24. If you'd like me to send you the practice please email me by clicking here.
